Animal Zone On the territory of the park you will meet peacocks, herons, lemurs, toucans and even hyacinth macaws. Flamingos, black storks and ducks live on the island in the lake. Infrastructure The park is equipped with comfortable paths, recreation areas with gazebos, information stands and benches. There is no cafe here, but there are drinking fountains and toilets.

How to get to Shekvetili Arboretum
By public transport
Direct option Transport: Minibus Batumi-Poti (runs every hour) or Batumi-Zugdidi (runs every 1 hour 20 minutes) Where to catch the minibus: You can catch the minibus at Old Batumi Bus Station stop (Stop coordinates: 41.644034, 41.649555) or look at the Yandex map for the route of this minibus. Where to get off: Natanebi stop (Stop coordinates: 41.692240, 41.707154), but it’s better to ask the driver to stop at the entrance to the Dendropark. The ride takes about 2 hours.
A faster option with one change in Kobuleti Transport: Batumi-Kobuleti minibus (runs every 20 minutes) with a change in Kobuleti to the Poti-Kobuleti minibus (runs every 2 hours) Where to catch a minibus in Batumi: In Batumi, you can catch a minibus at the stop Batumi - Church (Stop coordinates: 41.646054, 41.649629) or look at the route of this minibus on the Yandex map. Where to get offand in Kobuleti: Stop Stadium (Stop coordinates: 41.813389, 41.775670). The Poti-Kobuleti minibus will also go to this stop. Where to get off: Stop Natanebi (Stop coordinates: 41.692240, 41.707154), but it is better to ask the driver to stop at the entrance to the Dendropark. The ride takes about 1 hour 40 minutes.

A taxi from Batumi to Shekvetili Park will cost 30-60 GEL. The trip will take about 45 minutes. Using mobile apps to call a taxi is much cheaper than hailing a taxi on the street.
By car

Not far from the park is the Kaprovani Beach with black magnetic sand. Here you can relax after a walk, taking water and food with you. There are changing rooms and a toilet on site. You can rent a sun lounger with an umbrella.
History of the park
Shekvetili Arboretum was created with funds from the oligarch Bidzina Ivanishvili. For its arrangement, trees were brought here from all over Georgia, including ginkgo, sequoias and Himalayan conifers.
