Short Routes: Back in Time for Dinner
If you want to spend the evening in Batumi, pick a route of 7-9 hours. Georgian Bali and Mountainous Adjara with Makhuntseti return by 17:00 - enough time for dinner and an evening walk on the boulevard. The Dendropark with Magnetic Sands brings you back at 19:10. Two of the short routes are seasonal: the grape harvest runs from September to mid-November on the Rtveli schedule, and Gomis Mta is open from June to mid-November and works differently: departure at noon, then clouds, a picnic and the sunset up top, return by 22:00.
Full Routes: Distant Corners in One Day
The combinations with Prometheus Cave and Martvili Canyon take 12.5-13.5 hours: departure at 8:30, return by 21:00-22:00. There are three such routes - the classic one with the hot spring, via the monastery and Magnetic Sands and with the abandoned sanatoriums of Tskaltubo and Kutaisi - the distance is similar, the program differs. The longest trip is Vardzia with Rabati Fortress and Green Lake: departure at 6 a.m., home by 23:30. This is the maximum you can see from Batumi without an overnight stay, so plan a lazy morning for the next day.
If You Are in Batumi for a Short Stay
When you only have half a day, take the Batumi City Tour - 2 hours without leaving the city. If you have a full day but a tight schedule, the group tour to Mountainous Adjara with Makhuntseti takes 7 hours, and in the private format this route can be compressed to 5 hours - we will depart at a time that suits you.
