Booking terms

Effective from 2 November 2026 for Travel Batumi tours: booking, prepayment, payment, cancellation and pickup. Partner tours follow the partner's terms (see below).

How to book

• Send a request on the tour page or write to us in WhatsApp or Telegram. Asking questions before booking does not commit you to anything.
• Your place is reserved once the manager has confirmed the date in a message and, if a prepayment is required, once it has been paid. Where a prepayment is stated, the place cannot be reserved without it.
• Group tours run only on scheduled dates: if a date is not in the schedule, there is no group that day. A private trip can be booked for any day.
• We reply from 8:00 to 21:00 Batumi time, usually within 15 minutes; at night, as soon as we can.

Prepayment

• Group tour, party of 5 or more: 20 GEL per person. Whether the trip takes place depends on a large party, so its places are secured by a prepayment. Parties of fewer than 5 people pay the guide on the day of the trip.
• Mountain tours with a picnic: 35 GEL per person.
• Private trip: from 100 GEL; the manager tells you the amount when you book.
• How to pay: by transfer from a Visa, Mastercard or Mir card from any country, in roubles, lari, euros or dollars; or in cash at our office in Batumi, 63 Tedo Sakhokia St., by arrangement with the manager.

Paying the balance

• On the day of the trip: to the guide, in cash and only in lari. The guide does not accept dollars, roubles, euros, cards or cryptocurrency.
• In advance: by transfer no later than one day before the tour, because on the road the guide cannot help if a transfer does not go through.
• Not included in the price: lunch (about 30 GEL per person on average; on some tours a feast is included) and entrance tickets, which are listed on the tour page.

If your plans change

• Cancellation at least 48 hours before the start of the trip: we refund the prepayment in full.
• Cancellation less than 48 hours before, or not showing up: the prepayment is not refunded. Sometimes the trip can be moved to another date: write to the manager and we will decide depending on the situation.

Pickup and being late

• Group tours pick guests up from stops near hotels along the route: a large vehicle cannot drive into every courtyard. We send the stop address, a map pin and the time after 18:00 the day before, once the manager has planned the route using the addresses of the whole group.
• For a private trip, the car comes to the door of your hotel.
• The vehicle waits 10 minutes after the departure time from the stop. After that it leaves, and this counts as not showing up: the prepayment is not refunded. If you are running late, write to the guide or the manager straight away.
• Times in the programme are approximate: the group's pace, the road and queues can shift them.

If we cancel the trip

Rain does not cancel a tour: outside Batumi the weather is often better than in the city. We cancel only if there is a storm or the group for your date has not filled (the minimum group size is on the tour page). We will let you know in advance and offer another date or another tour on the same day, and if that does not suit you, we will refund the prepayment in full.

Children and discounts

• Child price: the age and amount are on the tour page.
• Children under 3 travel free in a group if they do not take a separate seat and sit on a lap. Whether a trip suits a small child is stated on the tour page, or ask when booking.
• Every third out-of-town group tour within a year costs less; the amount is on the tour page. City sightseeing tours do not count, and the discount does not apply to private trips. Mention it when booking.
• There are no other discounts.

Insurance

We do not insure travellers. Since 1 January 2026, entering Georgia requires your own insurance covering medical treatment and accidents, of at least 30,000 GEL for the whole trip: how to choose insurance.

Partner tours

Some pages feature tours by our partners (Tripster). You book and pay on the partner's website, under the partner's cancellation and refund terms. Once you go to the partner's website, the partner is responsible for booking, payment and running such a tour.
