How our excursions work
When and where from are you going?
Pick the dates: group departures by day and private trips on any day. The same thing we pick in chats, here - at once
Explore Georgia with a fun group of travelers. Daily departures from Batumi to scenic canyons and mountains with professional English-speaking guides
How Our Group Tours Work
A group departure is the most affordable way to see Adjara and Georgia: the Batumi city tour costs 40 GEL, out-of-town routes start from 65 GEL per person, and children under 12 get discounts on most programs. A group takes up to 19 tourists, the Gomismta trip up to 14 for the safety of the mountain road. On groups of 10 and more, the guide and the driver are two different people: one watches the serpentine road, the other tells the stories and answers questions. The most popular routes are all of Mountain Adjara in a day, Prometheus Cave with Martvili Canyon and the evening trip to Gomismta.
One thing to know before booking: group tours are conducted in Russian by certified Georgian guides, and the guide will gladly help English-speaking guests with the essentials via a translation app. If you want the full story in English, private tours come with English-speaking guides at no extra charge.
The schedule is your main navigator
The lineup of group tours changes through the year: in winter, snow closes the high-mountain routes like Gomismta, and off season the rarer destinations do not always gather a group. So do not rely on the general catalog - the current departures with dates and available seats are always in the group tour schedule. If a group does not fill up for your date (the minimum depends on the route - 4 people for some tours, 10 for others), we warn you a day in advance and offer a refund or a new date.
Pick-up and the road
There is no need to cross the city to a single meeting point: we pick you up from the nearest bus stop along the route, and when a tour passes through Kobuleti, Chakvi or Ureki, we collect you there too. The vehicles are comfortable and well kept, routes are built with rest stops, and we warn you in advance about the rare demanding sections.
Booking, prepayment and weather
Book through the forms on the site or in messengers - we reply in text, in English and Russian. For companies of 5 and more, a prepayment of 20 GEL per person confirms your seats and protects the other participants from last-minute cancellations. The prepayment is refundable if you cancel at least 48 hours before departure, and always when the cancellation is on our side. Rain does not cancel a tour - only a storm does, and in that case we refund or reschedule. We accept cash in GEL; a convenient cashless option is suggested at booking.
If no date in the schedule fits, or you want your own pace and route with an English-speaking guide - see our private tours: from 350 GEL for two. The full list of destinations, including private and seasonal programs, is in the Batumi tours catalog.
