Excursions from Tbilisi and Day Trips from Batumi
We are a Batumi-based team: all our tours start on the Black Sea coast and return to Batumi the same evening. We don't run departures from Tbilisi. If your trip around Georgia includes the coast, some of the places travellers usually visit from Tbilisi are within a day trip from Batumi, with a local guide and transport included.

We run both group and private tours. Groups follow a fixed schedule; a private tour can go on any day and at your own pace. Our local guides have more than 10 years of experience and know the history and traditions of each region. Tours are guided in Russian; if you need English, ask before booking and we'll tell you what is possible for your date.
Places on the Tbilisi list you can reach from Batumi
Two well-known destinations of the classic Tbilisi itinerary are part of our day trips:

Vardzia and Rabati Fortress - a cave monastery carved into a mountainside and the fortress in Akhaltsikhe; the route crosses the Goderdzi Pass and stops at Green Lake.

Martvili Canyon and Prometheus Cave - a river canyon and cave halls of stalactites and stalagmites in western Georgia, with a stop at a hot spring.
Mtskheta, Kakheti, Sighnaghi, Kazbegi and David Gareja are closer to Tbilisi than to the coast, and we don't run tours there.
How it works

Groups of up to 9 travel in a Mercedes Vito minivan with a guide who also drives; larger groups go in a Sprinter minibus with a separate driver.

Group tours pick you up at stops near your hotel along the route; private tours start from your hotel door.

All vehicles are air-conditioned.

You can ask any question about a tour before paying, and cancel for free up to 48 hours before it starts.
