10 Best 5-Star Luxury Hotels in Tbilisi

Most of Tbilisi's luxury hotels are in the centre - on Rustaveli Avenue, near Freedom Square and next to the Old Town, within walking distance of the main sights. According to 2026 travel guides, a night in a 4-5 star hotel starts at about 300 GEL, and rates are lower in winter, from November to March. Where the top hotels are

Rustaveli Avenue is the city's main street, lined with theatres, the Opera and museums. It is a convenient base, but political rallies sometimes take place in the evening outside Parliament: visitors usually avoid that spot, and the rest of the city goes on as normal. The Old Town and Sololaki offer views of Narikala and walks through old streets, but are noisy in the evening. Vake is green and quiet, with parks; the centre is a metro or taxi ride away. What to look for

• Room view: courtyard rooms are quieter, rooms facing the river or Narikala have the view but also the street noise.
• Private parking if you drive: central street parking is paid by the hour and scarce.
• A pool and spa: Tbilisi is hot in summer, July and August days can go above 30 °C.
• Cancellation terms and what is included: breakfast, late check-out, airport pick-up.
